Pawan Kalyan’s films are noted for their big box office openings and loyal fan base. However, his new picture “Bro” appears to be struggling to generate the necessary buzz ahead of its release on Friday. Normally, a day before the film’s release, we would see people going crazy trying to buy tickets for the film, but there are still many shows in Hyderabad that have yet to sell out.

While advance bookings are satisfactory, they fall short of what is expected of Pawan’s flicks. Because the film relies largely on Pawan’s magnetism, the lacklustre preview and mediocre music by SS Thaman may have harmed the overall buzz.

There is speculation that the continuous rains in Telugu states may have an impact on the film’s openings and advance bookings, but the low buzz is also fueling this speculation. Furthermore, as a remake directed by a Tamil filmmaker, the picture may not have piqued the curiosity of the general public.

So far in Hyderabad, just 310 of the 470 events with bookings open for tomorrow have reported fast filling or being sold out. It is expected that the picture would not make a lot of money on its first day. Telangana has been given a red warning due to severe rains, which are expected to persist for the next two days.

In view of the same, the rain may certainly affect the film’s revenue.
Directed by Samutrakani, “Bro” boasts dialogues and screenplay by Trivikram Srinivas. It features Kethika Sharma and Priya Prakash Varrier in significant roles. The film is jointly produced by People Media Factory and Zee Studios.
