Chennai: In a tragic incident, Copparam Shreyas Hareesh, a thirteen-year-antique racing prodigy from Bengaluru, died after suffering grievous accidents in a fatal crash at the Madras International Circuit for the duration of the 0.33 spherical of the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship in Chennai on Saturday.

Born on July 26, 2010, Shreyas, a student of Kensri School in Bengaluru, changed into being hailed as a racing prodigy after triumphing several races on the National level, such as four in a row, competing within the rookie category of the Petronas TVS One-Make Championship this season.

The tragic crash passed off soon after the start of the rookie race for which Shreyas had certified for pole function on Saturday morning. Exiting Turn-1, Shreyas fell following a crash and suffered a grievous head damage.
