Another major fire incident took place on February 7, 2025, in Sector 18 of the Maha Kumbh Mela. Suspected to have been triggered by an electrical short circuit at the ISKCON camp, the fire rapidly spread to adjacent camps, destroying 22 tents and causing damage worth nearly ₹10 lakh. Firefighters were dispatched immediately, and the fire was contained within an hour.

On February 9, 2025, yet another fire broke out at a restaurant within the Maha Kumbh Mela area, resulting in significant damage. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze promptly, ensuring that all customers and staff were safely evacuated, with no casualties reported.

These recurrent fire incidents at the Kumbh Mela have raised serious concerns about safety measures and the necessity for stricter regulations to prevent such occurrences in the future. Authorities have assured that safety protocols are under review and urged individuals to report any fire or emergency incidents without delay.
