312 special trains for Ganpati will be run by Indian Railways :-

257 trains will be run by Central Railway, and 55 trains will be run by Western Railway. The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration will be observed on September 19 this year. Ganpati Special Trains will be run by Indian Railways for the convenience of passengers in order to reduce the rush. Before the Ganpati festival. Prior to the Ganpati festival, Central Railway and Western Railway have announced that they will operate 312 Ganpati Special Trains together.

The special trains will run out of Mumbai and other Maharashtra cities. Both the Central Railway and the Western Railway experienced a spike in passenger traffic during the Ganpati celebration, particularly on trains linking Mumbai to other regions of the state.
As opposed to 294 services in 2022, they are jointly operating 312 Ganpati Special Train services in 2023 (including Central Railway’s 257 and Western Railway’s 55 services). Compared to previous year, there are 18 more services being offered this year. There are now 94 unreserved services, up from 32 in 2022.
