Nubia has launched the RedMagic 8S Pro and RedMagic 8S Pro+, the world’s first smartphone with 24GB RAM.

Great Gaming Display
The RedMagic 8S Pro series sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and max brightness of 1300 nits. The display also offers up to 960Hz touch sampling rate and 1440Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) dimming. It offers unbelievably thin side bezels on the screen that measures 1.48mm.
Ample Storage With Built-in Fan
Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that can max out at 3.36GHz and an R2 gaming chip for performance. The Pro+ model offers up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The phones come with a built-in fan to keep thermals in control.
Whopping Charging Speeds
RedMagic 8S Pro sports a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and the Pro+ offers a 5000mAh battery with a whopping 165W charging that can charge the phone to 100 per cent in under 15 minutes.
Under Display Camera
The Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro series comes with an under-display 16MP front camera. On the back panel sits a 50MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro.
Heart Rate Detection
Both gaming smartphones come with heart rate detection features, according to FoneArena.
While the phones have launched in China, you can get an idea about the pricing after price conversion. The RedMagic 8S Pro’s base (8GB + 128GB) starts from 3999 Yuan (roughly Rs 45,000) and goes all the way to 5499 Yuan (around Rs 62,000) for the top-end (12GB + 256GB) trim. The Red Magic 8S Pro+’s base model (16GB + 256GB) starts from 5,499 Yuan (roughly Rs 62,000) and scales to 7,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 85,000) for the 24GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
