The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has launched a spacecraft as part of a campaign to avoid a “internet apocalypse” that could leave people without internet connection for months.

According to a report by Mirror, the US space agency’s Parker Solar Probe (PSP) has reached a critical milestone by travelling through the solar wind.

Scientists have issued a warning about the possible consequences of an oncoming solar storm, commonly referred to as a “internet apocalypse,” which might occur within the next decade.
