With the release of the Vivo V29 5G, Vivo is set to expand its V-series smartphone lineup in China. According to reports, the handset has been found on the FCC certification website, revealing some of its major specifications. The smartphone was also recently seen on the NBTC certification site. It is expected to include a 4,505mAh battery. Vivo, on the other hand, has yet to share any specifics about the rumoured smartphone, which is scheduled to successor the Vivo V27.

According to a Pricebaba report, the alleged Vivo V29 has been listed with the model number V2250 on the FCC certification site. The listing indicates the phone’s battery specifications as well as its connectivity possibilities.

The device is believed to be powered by a 4,505mAh battery that supports 80W rapid charging. The model number of the charger is V8073L0A0. In addition, the description mentions 5G, LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity options. According to the leak, the Vivo V29 would have a 6.7-inch OLED full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It could run the Android 13-based Funtouch OS out of the box.

The rumoured Vivo V29 will successor the Vivo V27, which was released earlier this year. The phone has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC and runs FunTouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13.
