Taking after the colossal real cricket industry Indian Premier League, Mobile Premier League (MPL) is a mobile e-sports platform created by Sai Srinivas, Kiran Garimella, and Shubham Malhotra in September 2018. Their earlier brainchild was Consumer Electronics Company.
Operated by Galactus Funware Private Limited based in Bangalore, MPL initially started as a sideload the only app. It was released on Google Play Store just within a month, in October 2018. In February 2019, the app further expanded its services and was launched on the Apple App Store.
The Smartphone market in India is magnifying, and so is the mobile gaming industry. As each Smartphone brand’s versatility increases, more industries are prizing open cracks of opportunity in the gaming world. People are relishing the idea of portable gaming devices fitting into one’s pockets.
MPL has carved up a good place for itself in the Indian market and is steadily extending overseas. It is working to innovate fascinating features for gamers and more user-friendly interfaces. Users are more accessible to various gaming applications in place of a gaming console.
