Srinagar Airport Set to Reopen Amid Easing Tensions Between India and Pakistan
Following a period of heightened tensions, the Srinagar International Airport is set to resume operations tomorrow, marking a significant step towards normalcy in the region. Local officials are advising patience before families return to homes that have suffered significant damage from the recent shelling, which resulted in the destruction of properties worth crores of rupees.
The impact of the violence has been severe, with reports indicating that around 22 individuals lost their lives and over 60 sustained injuries during the shelling. Many of those injured continue to receive medical treatment in hospitals throughout Jammu and Kashmir.
