At the Presidential palace in Cairo on Sunday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi presented Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the “Order of the Nile,” the highest accolade bestowed by Egypt.
The ‘Order of the Nile’ was established in 1915 and is given to heads of state, crown princes, and vice presidents who provide Egypt or humanity with priceless services. This is Prime Minister Modi’s thirteenth highest state honour.
