Motorola Razr 40, Razr 40 Ultra to be available via Amazon in India.
Motorola recently unveiled two new clamshell-style foldable smartphones for the global market. The company has now confirmed that the Motorola Razr 40 and the Razr 40 Ultra will soon be made available in India. Unlike most Motorola smartphones, which usually go on sale via Flipkart, the upcoming models will be available via Amazon and other leading retail outlets.
As of now, there is no official confirmation on the launch date of the Razr 40 series. However, given the official teaser, these devices should be made available in the next few weeks.
Despite having a similar name, the Razr 40 and the Razr 40 Ultra are two different devices. The Razr 40 Ultra is a cutting-edge clamshell style foldable with a big 3.6-inch cover display. The smartphone has a primary 6.9-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, and the device is based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
Similarly, the Razr 40 has a smaller 1.5-inch cover display with a similar 6.9-inch primary display, which also has a peak refresh rate of 144Hz. This variant is based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Both phones run on stock Android 13 OS and feature a 32-inch selfie camera on the inside. Similarly, the Razr 40 Ultra has a dual-camera setup with a 12 MP wide-angle and 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and the Razr 40 has a 64 MP primary camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens.
The Razr 40 has a slightly large 4,200 mAh battery and the Razr 40 Ultra has a 3,800 mAh battery. Both devices support up to 30W wired fast charging and 5W wireless charging. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is priced at $999, which roughly translates to Rs 82,508.
