Samarjitsinh Ranjitsinh Gaekwad is one of the wealthiest individuals in India. He is the titular King of Baroda and a member of the former Baroda Royal Family. He is Gujarat’s richest royal.

He is the sole child of Shubhangini Raje and Ranjitsinh Pratapsinh Gaekwad. He attended Dehradun’s The Doon School. He excelled in athletics. He served as the team captain for the school’s tennis, football, and cricket squads.
