The heir to the cosmetics company L’Oreal from France, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, who is currently the richest woman in the world, was displaced by him on the list of the world’s wealthiest people as a result of his increase in fortune, according to the study. This year, Ambani’s net worth increased by $3.66 billion.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, experienced a decline in his net worth by $4.25 billion on Thursday, bringing his total wealth to $244 billion. Bernard Arnault, who holds the second position on the list and is from France, also witnessed a decrease in net worth by $6.11 billion, with his wealth now at $190 billion. Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, lost $2.08 billion, leaving him in third place with a net worth of $153 billion. Bill Gates is currently fourth on the list, and Larry Ellison occupies the fifth position. Only Steve Ballmer, ranked sixth, experienced a rise in net worth on Thursday, with a total wealth of $118 billion. Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, saw a decline in net worth by $5.43 million, leaving him at number 21 with a net worth of $60.2 billion.

The richest woman in the world is Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, the L’Oreal heir. With a gain of $17.7 billion this year, her net worth now totals $89.2 billion. Her mother, Liliane Bettencourt, left her and her family a 33 percent ownership part in L’Oreal. Father of Liliane Bettencourt, Eugene Schueller, created the L’Oreal brand. L’Oreal’s board has included Francoise Bettencourt Meyers since 1997. Thursday saw a $2.54 billion decrease in her net worth.
