Awoman officer of the cooperative branch in Jharkhand, became nabbed by the Hazaribagh Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for taking bribe from a neighborhood enterprise.
The female officer joined as an assistant registrar in Koderma 8 months ago and it became her first posting.
The Corruption Bureau arrested her on July 7 even as she was taking bribe of Rs 10,000 as the first a part of Rs 20,000 bribe she had demanded from the Koderma Vyapar Sahyog Samiti.
The female officer had even threatened to take action in opposition to the organization after locating irregularities at some stage in a wonder inspection.
A member of the agency had lodged a complaint towards the girl officer after she requested for the bribe. The ACB confirmed the criticism and laid a entice to trap her purple-passed.
