The Miss World 2023 beauty contest will be held in India. Yes, you read that correctly. The 71st Miss World pageant will be held in India. To make the announcement, reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska joined Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, during a news conference in New Delhi on Thursday.
“India prepares to welcome the world with open arms with the 71st Miss World 2023 and showcase the country’s grace, beauty, and progressive spirit. Join us in celebrating the power of women to make a difference, as we embark on this extraordinary journey together,” Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska said.
While the date and location of the much awaited pageant have yet to be determined, the finale is expected to be held in November or December 2023. Over 130 countries will compete in a variety of demanding events in India, including talent displays, athletic challenges, and philanthropic activities. Several rounds will be held to shortlist competitors over the course of one month before the grand finale in the fourth quarter of the year.
