If you bake cakes at home, you know that an oven is a must-have piece of equipment. However, not everyone has access to one, which is why they choose to order it from somewhere else. There are, however, various different ways to bake a chocolate cake, one of which is in a pressure cooker.
Here’s a simple chocolate cake recipe that can be baked in a pressure cooker with surprising results.
You may alternatively brush the pan with butter and sprinkle it with maida. Begin by combining the maida, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a mixing dish. Combine the softened butter, sugar and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
Whisk the ingredients together until thoroughly mixed. (Make certain there are no crumbs). Now, add the eggs one at a time, beating the batter until smooth.
Heat the pressure cooker on high for 4-5 minutes with the lid closed but no pressure. Put the cake tin inside. Close the cover without applying pressure, reduce the heat to low, and cook until done. This will take around 25 to 30 minutes.
You can check if the cake is ready or not by gently inserting a toothpick into it. If it comes out clean, that means your chocolate cake is ready.
