AWS is the famous cloud platform in the current digital world. Hosting websites and applications in AWS gives more confidence to business owners to give 99% uptime to their customers. However, renting an instance in AWS is a bit costly for startups and low-budget individuals.
To support the startups from starting stage to scaling up, AWS has introduced a program called AWS Activate. In this program startups or new businesses can get a credit of $1000 as AWS Activate Founders and can get up to $100,000 as AWS Activate Portfolio.
To be eligible for the portfolio you need to apply for founders credits first. To do that you need to follow the below steps.
Step – 1: Open the AWS Activate page with this link.
Step – 2: Click on join now then it will redirect to the login page, then click on sign up.
Step – 3: Now sign up using a company mail (ex. user@yourdomain.com) Note: Not with Gmail.
Step – 4: After sign-up is completed it will redirect to the AWS Activate form, If you can’t see the form after sign-up, click on this link and click join again to get the form.
Step – 5: Fill out the basic details in the form.
Step – 6: You will get a response within 6 working days to the registered email.
If you are a genuine startup and you have a proper company website and LinkedIn profile you will get the credits for sure.
