According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale struck Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh on Sunday evening.
The earthquake struck at 6.34 p.m. at a depth of 5 km, according to the NCS.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.2, Occurred on 23-07-2023, 18:34:39 IST, Lat: 30.58 & Long: 80.18, Depth: 5 Km, Region: Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India,” the National Centre for Seismic Research tweeted.

Earlier in the day, the National Centre for Seismology stated that an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday morning.

The earthquake struck at 6:56 a.m. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km, according to the NCS.
