Wave Power Energy 

This is a very excited topic, here the energy is generated from the waves in at the surface of the water. How come this technique is awesome to generated the electrical source. This design uses the principle of conversion of mechanical energy into the electrical energy. Therefore, here the mechanical wave energy is used to convert into the electrical energy by using different system. most power stations that run on wave power.

Wave farms are classified into 8 types based on the technology used, such as Surface-following attenuator, Point absorber, Oscillating wave surge converter, Oscillating water column, Overtopping/Terminator, Submerged pressure differential, Bulge wave device, and Rotating mass. All wave power systems operate on the principle that moving water carries a substantial amount of energy, transferred from wind to the water by well understood physics.

Country which uses the energy dervived from the wave energy ?

Chile is the country with the highest wave energy potential in the world, the British engineering consultant Baird & Associates reported last week. According to company officials, wave energy along Chile’s coast can satisfy up to 24 percent of the country’s energy demand in summer and 26 percent in winter

Nemos Wave Power Energy :

There are many models proposed for to derive the energy from the waves, Here let’s discuss about the Nemos Wave Power to electrical energy, how this model converts the wave energy into the mechanical energy and then into the electrical energy. The NEMOS WEC is an new system for generating electricity from ocean waves. An elongated floating body absorbs the incoming energy and transmits to a generator by a spring-loaded belt drive. All wave power systems operate on the principle that moving water carries a substantial amount of energy, transferred from wind to the water by well understood physics.  According to NEMOS, the systems hydro-mechanical efficiency is far above standard technology. The system is adjustable in size to different environmental conditions to maximise energy output.
