July 2023 is a bank holiday. Complete List: According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) holiday schedule, banks will observe a total of fifteen holidays in July 2023. These days off include the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, as well as Sundays, which are considered weekend leaves. The Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act lists eight of these holidays, while the remainder are standard weekend offs. Banks will be open on the first and third Saturdays of each month.

It should be noted that some bank holidays will be restricted to specific states, while others will be recognised nationwide during national holidays. The RBI has divided the holidays into three categories: Negotiable Instruments Act holiday, Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
