Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer mythological epic received another setback after the All India Cine Workers Association wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to “stop screening the movie and immediately order a ban of Adipurush screening in the theatres and OTT platforms in the future”.
Ever since the release of Adipurush on June 16, many have called for a ban on the movie for its wrongful depiction of the Hindu epic Ramayan. The film is especially facing backlash for some of its dialogues, which are called out for being crass. All Indian Cine Workers Association has now come out against Adipurush for hurting the sentiments of Hindus.
