After a reactor exploded in Andhra Pradesh on Friday, at least two people died and several more sustained serious burn injuries. More casualties were anticipated, according to officials, as rescue efforts went on. According to reports, the explosion happened at the Sahithi Pharma drug manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam.
Four individuals got serious burn injuries, but the number of fatalities has not yet been ascertained, Parawada DSP K V Satyanarayana told PTI on Friday.
The injured have been transported in ambulances, and the Police have made plans for their care at the NTR Government Hospital in Anakapalli town.
