“Adipurush is about celebrating the victory of good over evil.”
Saif Ali Khan recently discussed his role in Om Raut’s Adipurush, and he is now retracting his remarks since they offended people’s feelings. In contrast to Prabhas’s Ram and Kriti Sanon’s Sita, Saif plays the part of Lankesh.
He mentioned that he will be giving Ravana’s persona in the movie some humanity when discussing his role. In addition to this, he said that the producers will also defend Ravana’s kidnapping of Sita.
His comments offended a lot of individuals, and they began venting their ire on social media. In the aforementioned interview with Mirror, Saif Ali Khan stated, “It’s exciting to portray a demon king, as there are less restrictions in that. However, we will humanise him, raise the entertainment value, and excuse his kidnapping of Sita and conflict with Ram as retaliation for what Lakshman did to his sister Surpanakha by cutting off his nose.
“This was never my intention or meant that way,” Saif Ali Khan continued. I want to genuinely sorry to everyone and retract what I said.
“Lord Ram has always represented morality and bravery for me. Saif Ali Khan said, “Adipurush is about celebrating the triumph of good over evil and the entire crew is working together to depict the epic without any distortions.
The film is directed by Om Raut, who earlier this year created the box office sensation Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and Saif Ali Khan plays the adversary. Saif portrayed Udaybhan Singh Rathore, the royal guard of Aurangzeb, in Raut’s Tanhaji, which pits him against Ajay Devgn’s titular protagonist Tanhaji Malusare.
The Adipurish movie will be available in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Rajesh Nair, Bhushan Kumar, Om Raut, and Prasad Sutar are the producers.
